Dible completed a great career for the Hoxie with 86 tackles and team-bests in tackles for loss (28.5) and sacks (11.5). Dible had more than twice as many tackles for loss than any other Indian.
Hoxie entered the season with its massive veteran senior line of Dible, Colton Heskett and Taye Washington. Heskett and Washington had solid years and combined for 20 TFLs, though each missed at least one contest.
Offensively, Dible moved out to end for the first time and led the team with 19 catches for 382 yards and four scores. Hoxie went 9-2 and finished fourth in the KPreps final Eight-Man, Division I poll. Hoxie lost only to the top-two squads in the classification, No. 1 Central Plains in the quarterfinals and No. 2 St. Francis in districts.
In the Round of 16 playoffs, Hoxie upended Clifton-Clyde, 22-20, on the road. C-C was 9-0 at the time. It marked the first time an eight-man western team was beaten with a 9-0 record since Jetmore in 2007, according to Prep Power Index archives.
Dible was a key starter as a junior when Hoxie went 12-1 and captured the Division I state title, the first Hoxie football title in school history. Overall, the 5-11, 220-pound Dible finished his career with 245 tackles and 74.5 for loss.
