Frontenac has earned the Craw-Kan "Your Community Technology Partner" Team of the Week for their 41-6 regional playoff victory over Girard last Friday.
The Raider (7-3) moved on to the 4A-II round of eight for the fourth conescutive season under head coach Mark Smith. Senior quarterback Peyton Brown led the way for FHS as he had three touchdowns, two on the ground and one through the air. Frontenac has used a solid defense, led by veteran defensive coordinator John Palumbo, that has only allowed 36 total points over the last four weeks combed, which has given the Raiders a four-game winning streak. The defense, which is led by their defensive line, features senior defensive end Broc Ginavan, offered on Sunday by FBS Division I program Wyoming. Jake Wilbert has really stepped up big since district play as the Raiders featured back offensively, going for two scores on Friday and has been a very valuable defender for the Raiders over the last two seasons.
Frontenac will get a rematch for the third consecutive year against Holton in the 4A-II quarterfinals in Holton. The Raiders lost this game 32-28 last year after racing out to a 21-0 lead in the first half. Holton is coming off a 9-8 win in round one over Baldwin. Holton is in familar territory as they have been in the quarterfinal matchup in 4A-I or 4A in 16 of the last 20 seasons under Brooks Barta.
Craw-Kan “Your Technology Partner" and Sports in Kansas will once again be in partnership over the 2017-2018 school year to release a "Craw-Kan Team of the Week".

Nominations will be accepted from every Friday-Sunday, with the "Craw-Kan Team of the Week" being released every Monday on Sports in Kansas (Kansas-Sports.com). Teams must be nominated via email or twitter.
Teams must be from the following leagues in the Southeast Kansas area to be eligible: SEK, CNC, TRL
Craw-Kan and Sports in Kansas will also partner in releasing a "All Craw-Kan Team" for the Southeast Kansas area after postseason play has wrapped up.
