The Craw-Kan "Your Community Technology Partner" Team of the Week from the Southeast Kansas coverage area is the Columbus Titans football team with their 20-14 road victory over Pawnee (OK) on Friday.
The Titans, led by head coach Dan Grundy, trailed 14-6 at the half but put together a solid second half with two scores to pick up their second win of the season as they shutout the Black Bears in points in the third and fourth quarter. They were led by senior all-state running back Keenan Stanley who had 177 yards and two rushing touchdowns for CUHS. Senior quarterback Ridge Smith also threw for a TD pass in the contest.
The Titans, ranked third in the state for 4A-II in the latest Kpreps state rankings, will be at home against CNC league opponent Girard (1-1) on Friday. The Trojans are coming off a 35-0 win over Riverton. Columbus opened up week one with a 48-0 win over Riverton.
Craw-Kan “Your Technology Partner" and Sports in Kansas will once again be in partnership over the 2017-2018 school year to release a "Craw-Kan Team of the Week".

"We have a lot of new products including the fastest internet in the area in the new gigabit fiber, we are also in Frontenac and Pittsburg with our service. Nominations will be accepted from every Friday-Sunday, with the "Craw-Kan Team of the Week" being released every Monday on Sports in Kansas (Kansas-Sports.com). Teams must be nominated via email or twitter.
Teams must be from the following leagues in the Southeast Kansas area to be eligible: SEK, CNC, TRL
Craw-Kan and Sports in Kansas will also partner in releasing a "All Craw-Kan Team" for the Southeast Kansas area after postseason play has wrapped up.
