Sports in Kansas has released its annual list of high school boys basketball Player of the Year Finalists in Kansas. Players of the Year are brought to you by Mammoth Sports Construction, Seatbelts Are For Everyone (SAFE), American Implement, Nex-Tech Wireless and Labette Community College. Award winners will be announced on Saturday 3/27 along with all-state teams (3/27-3/28) and Coach of the Year honors from Sports in Kansas. Sports in Kansas honors are conducted by a statewide media panel vote of over 25 media members in every part of the state, media members are asked to vote for the best player they saw in each classification this year, votes are then finalized and calculated by Chet Kuplen of Sports in Kansas & Conor Nicholl of Sports in Kansas. Player of the Year Finalist patches can be ordred along with all-state patches at 3/27 at sportsinkansas@gmail.com
