This months Rainbow Communications Athlete of the Month from the Northeast Kansas coverage area is Riverside wrestler Luke Horn.
Horn finished an outstanding career at Riverside High School in Wathena with over 100 career wins, a 44-1 record as a senior and a 3-2-1A state wrestling championship at 160 lbs. Horn was also a 3-2-1A Regional Champ and won the Big 7 League this season. He is a three time state qualifer placing fifth last season. Horn beat Matt Rodriguez of SE-Saline (2-1 Dec) in the state championship match at Fort Hays State University. Horn had three pins at state and finished 4-0 at the state tournament.
