This months athlete of the month from Rainbow Communications in Northeast Kansas is Nemaha Central senior linebacker Bryce Uphaus.
Uphaus helped lead the Nemaha Central Thunder to their first ever state football title this fall. Uphaus was named the Sports in Kansas 2A Defensive Player of the Year for his efforts. Additionally, head coach Warren Seitz was named the 2A Coach of the Year and All-Classes Coach of the Year from Sports in Kansas.
