Craw-Kan Team of the Week: Girard Trojans

Girard has earned Craw-Kan team of the Week.

The 2018-2019 Girard Trojans state champion boys basketball team have once again earned the Craw-Kan Team of the Week for the second week in a row. With no sports being played last week with spring break, the Trojans get the nod for their post season honors.

Caleb Muia earned Sports in Kansas 3A Player of the Year and 1st Team All-State All-Classes from Sports in Kansas. Also recieving honors were Evan Troike who was named to the 3A All-State First Team from Sports in Kansas. Ryder Worrell and Carter Doherty also earned all-state honorable mention honors from Sports in Kansas in 3A. 

In addition to all the individuals, head coach Rod Wescott was also named the 2019 Sports in Kansas All-Classes Coach of the Year. Wescott led the Trojans to their first ever boys state title in any sport. He was also given the 3A Coach of the Year nod from Sports in Kansas.
