Rainbow Communications Athlete of Month: Beau Horn

This months Rainbow Communications Northeast Kansas Athlete of the Month is Riverside High School wrestler Beau Horn.

Horn took second place at the 2019 3-2-1A state championship in Hays this past weekend. He has put together quite the last few months by going 34-6 over his junior season for the Cyclones. 

Horn lost in the state championship match (3-1 Dec) to Hoxie High School junior Dylan Weimer who captured the 3-2-1A crown at 132 pounds. Horn earned all-state honors from Sports in Kansas for his performance at state in the 132 pound bracket. Horn got to the title match by beating Tate Kadel of Beloit in the semifinals and beat Bryce Eck of Uniontown in the quarterfinals. He also beat Trenton Howell of Stockton in the opening round. 

Rainbow Communications would like to congratulate Horn on an outstanding 2018-2019 season in wrestling and a state runner-up finish.
