The Labette Bank Athlete of the Month from the Southeast Kansas coverage area for their play over the month of December is Northeast-Arma senior Tre McLaughlin.
McLaughlin, a 5-foot-11, senior, guard, is having a breakout year for the Three Rivers League Vikings who play in Class 2A. He is averaging 25.9 points per game, including a 35-point outing on Friday night in the win over Southeast. Northeast-Arma, led by Russ Cramer, is also off to a 6-1 start this season with their only loss coming to Madison-Hamilton.
