The Central Kansas Athlete of the Month from Nex-Tech Wireless for the Month of August is Osborne High School senior quarterback Darnell Holloway.
The 6-foot-3, 195-pound, dual-threat, had a huge game on Friday night with eight total touchdowns. Yes, you read that right. Osborne defeated Hill City 88-76 on Friday as Holloway had 356 rushing yards with seven touchdowns and passed for nearly 100 more with another score. Holloway is a rising prospect in the state of Kansas as the Bulldogs, who play in 8M-II, got their first win of the season in the opening week.
Nex-Tech Wireless would like to congratulate the Bulldogs and Head Coach Brandon Wise on their opening week win.
Osborne has a huge test this week as they visit defending 8M-I state champion Hoxie (1-0).
