The Nex-Tech Wireless Central Kansas Athlete of the Month is Smoky Valley High School junior track and field athlete, Tim Lambert.

Lambert opened the eyes of everyone at the state outdoor in 2018 by winning three individual titles in Class 4A in the 100 meters, 200 meters and 300 hurdles. He did so by setting two meet records in the 200 meters (21.76) and the 300 hurdles (37.85) that came in the prelims on Friday. His 100 time was also a PR for him this season as he won the 4A title in 10.74 FAT. Lambert was one of the top sprinters and hurdlers in Kansas this season, regardless of classification.

Nex-Tech Wireless would like to congratulate Lambert on an outstanding junior season for the Vikings!
