The Nex-Tech Wireless Central Kansas Athlete(s) of the Month are McPherson High School senior basketball players Ben Pyle and Taylor Robertson.

Pyle of the boys team earned Mr. Kansas Basketball earlier this month, giving annually to the states top player in all classes by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association, after leading his team to a second place finish in 4A-I. He was also the Sports in Kansas Player of the Year and has been an all-state selection three seasons in a row for the Pups. He has signed to play collegiately at Division I program, Western Illinois. You don't have to go any further to find the 2018 Miss Kansas Basketball, giving annually to the states top senior girls basketball player, as she is also from McPherson in senior Taylor Robertson. Robertson, a four time all-state pick from Sports in Kansas, was also the 4A-I Player of the Year that led her team to a remarkable comeback state title win over state power, Bishop Miege in Salina last month. Borth Robertson and Pyle are the all-time leading scorers in the history of the McPherson girls and boys programs, quite the feat for the high school basketball capital of Kansas. Pyle is coached by Kurt Kinnamon while Robertson is coached by Chris Strathman, two of the best coaches Kansas has to offer in all classifications. McPherson boys have had eight Mr. Kansas Basketball honorees, while the girls have had three Miss Kansas Basketball honorees.

Nex-Tech Wireless would like to congratulate Pyle, Robertson and all of the Bullpupos on an outstanding year at McPherson High School.
