Nex-Tech Wireless Western KS AOM: Kayla Vitztum

The Nex-Tech Wireless Western Kansas Athlete of the Month for their performance over the month of March is TMP senior basketball player Kayla Vitztum.

Vitztum helped lead the Monarchs to a 3A Final Four finish as they took fourth in the classification. She was named to every publications all-state 3A team as well as a third team all classification pick from Sports in Kansas. Vitztum was also selected to play in the KBCA All-Star game later this summer, recognizing the top senior girls basketball players in a game against each other in Salina. In addition to statewide honors, locally in Hays she was named the Hays Daily News All-Area Girls Player of the Year. The senior multiple sport all-state athlete has signed to play Division II Volleyball at Newman University in Wichita.
