The St. Mary's Colgan girls basketball team, led by head coach Abby Farabi, have earned the Craw-Kan "Your Community Technology Partner" Team of the Week from the Southeast Kansas area.
The Panthers won the Tony Dubray Classic in Liberal (Mo.) on Monday night for the second consecutive year with a 64-54 victory over Lockwood in the Championship. The Championship was originally scheduled for Saturday then weather moved to Sunday, then an electric problem moved the game to Monday. Colgan also finished off the week at 2-0 with their dominating CNC league victory over Riverton on homecoming Friday, 49-23. Cathy Farmer was named the Tony Dubray Classic MVP for the second consecutive year. Kate Radell had a huge week with 20 points in the tournament championship and 16 in the win over Riverton. Farmer had 10 on Friday and 17 in the title game.
Colgan (11-1) will be back in action this Thursday as they will host Liberal (Mo.). The SMC girls are ranked 7th in the latest KBCA poll.
Craw-Kan “Your Technology Partner" and Sports in Kansas will once again be in partnership over the 2017-2018 school year to release a "Craw-Kan Team of the Week".

Also that Craw-Kan is now in Frontenac and Pittsburg”

"We have a lot of new products including the fastest internet in the area in the new gigabit fiber, we are also in Frontenac and Pittsburg with our service. We are very excited with all the new products we have to offer to the area."
Nominations will be accepted from every Friday-Sunday, with the "Craw-Kan Team of the Week" being released every Monday on Sports in Kansas (Kansas-Sports.com). Teams must be nominated via email or twitter.
Teams must be from the following leagues in the Southeast Kansas area to be eligible: SEK, CNC, TRL
Craw-Kan and Sports in Kansas will also partner in releasing a "All Craw-Kan Team" for the Southeast Kansas area after postseason play has wrapped up.
